Deforestation Monitoring System

INTRODUCTION

The Forest Loss Monitoring System – a comprehensive technological solution implemented nationwide – provides a visual perspective and the ability to respond quickly to forest changes. The forest loss monitoring system detects forest changes online using satellite images from different periods to promptly identify areas of forest loss with a minimum area of 0.5 hectares.
