Forestry Infomation system joint stock company (FIS) was formerly known as ITC Information Technology Center established on August 8, 2001. Immediately after its establishment, ITC participated in building a database and software to track forest developments with high practical application and was applied by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development in 60/63 provinces/cities with forests. This is also the first step in the digital transformation revolution of the forestry industry.

In 2006, FIS transformed its operating model and focused on researching technological solutions to support the Vietnamese government in implementing effective management in the forestry sector.

Up to now, after 25 years of operation, FIS owns many technological products that are widely applied throughout the country, such as: forest fire warning systems, automatic forest fire forecast level signs, forest fire early detection systems, ground monitoring stations for forest fires, forest loss and degradation monitoring systems, smart forest monitoring systems using drones, etc.

FIS always aims to provide optimal solutions for technology application in the field of forestry, limiting manual labor, saving time and safety for human resources. FIS constantly strives to be a company that provides the best solution, responds effective demands with knowledge of forestry and information technology.
